Mport wireless does it draw current when not enabled?

If the wireless is not setup does the radio still draw power ?

Yes. It's in listening mode. The power drawn from listening only is minimal.

Re: Mport wireless does it draw current when not enabled?

Thanks
I installed 2 mports in an aluminum outdoor enclosure. I did not want the radios causing any interference with the mports them selves.
Another question on the wireless performance.
If I were to install an Mport in a outdoor Plastic enclosure , Open space across a field say 500 too 700 feet. Would it connect to a nano or a loco?

Heh. I'd take a guess and say that performance is probably comparable to a pico as long as you are using the external antenna model.

If not, expect more like laptop performance.
