Smarthouse II

Is there a module that I can set my sprinklers timers etc from my computer?
If so sign me up.

+1 been needing those for years... I HATE programming sprinkler controllers.

Re: Smarthouse II

+1 for a UBNT module for this.

Meanwhile there are PLCs that are easier to program than many sprinkler controllers.

Well, when you get the sprinkler timer variant of Stuxnet, you may rethink that choice....

Re: Smarthouse II

There are many options. One is a home depot controller where you take the USB module to your computer, program it, then plug it back into the main controller. There's the Rain8 controllers that work via X10 or UPB; there's relay boards with timers and logics and programmed the old fashioned way; etc.

Wow, Stuxnet can now reprogram the FBD (function block diagram) logic in my Crouzet PLCs? That's some hoopy coding there!

Now, if I was running MODBUS TCP (I'm not) that could make for some fun network exploits...
